"A la Rueda Rueda" is an interdisciplinary children's art workshop in Spanish.

The activities take place with each group once a week in the afternoon, last one hour and have their place at the WUK.

A cycle is followed that incorporates music, dance, theater, art and space, accentuating one and the other activity at a time, thus producing an enriching interdisciplinary crossing.

The program also includes literary rounds, a fantastic laboratory, the kino wheel, philosophical gatherings, guest musicians and four parties throughout the year.

Children actively come into contact with the language through play, improvisation, social interaction and artistic expression.

A la Rueda Rueda first opened its doors on September 27, 2010 and is a program managed by Großes Schiff, an intercultural non-profit association for social, pedagogical and artistic work.

The main objective is to promote creativity, using tools such as music, dance, art and space. These are the basic pillars to achieve other goals as well:

From the social point of view:

  • Achieve a genuine and empathetic space: a place thought of the other, where the other feels recognized, valued, accepted. A space where exchange, the feeling of hospitality prevail.

From the creative and pedagogical proposal:

  • A space to sing, dance, create and explore.

  • where the body is put into action and it is available to play and creativity.

  • where the creative proposal is open enough so that the child does not feel limited, but quite the opposite: that he explore, discover, give free rein to his imagination.

  • where perhaps with a piece of paper, a bit of glue and some recycled materials the magic will take place: surprise yourself and surprise us.

  • where the performance and the effectiveness of a final result do not matter, but the mere fact of finalizing it.

  • where our workshops, artists and educators develop their potential with authentic vitality and rapport: marveling at each other.

  • a place with an open, flexible proposal that leaves room for spontaneity and improvisation.

  • that from the didactic point of view a non-behavioral method is thought and promoted.

  • that teaching is at the same time learning with others.
